    Story

I have been given a fantastic opportunity to run the London Marathon this year, through the luck of the ballot, I am in! This year my charity is very personal to me. I am going to be fundraising for my Mum and Dad. 2018 has been challenging for my Dad, initially being diagnosed and treated for Prostate Cancer, then he underwent life saving surgery in July for blocked arteries in his neck. This thankfully saved him from a major stroke. Finally in December Dad had his lower right leg amputated after a gruelling 11 hour operation to try and save it. This life changing surgery means some adaptions in the home are necessary to help him lead a safe and independent life. I would love to raise some money to help them adapt the house they have lived in for nearly 52 years. The house will need a new front door for access, a stair lift and wet room. My dad has been an absolute hero throughout this challenging year and my Mum has been his angel. Please donate what you can to help a very special couple that mean the world to us all ❤️
