Hi everyone.
A virus nearly killed my beautiful beautiful Stump's...he's my world....he's almost 15 and after a hard fight he's home now but the virus left him without the use of his back legs. He's lucky to
be alive and had a few times he was so close to dying. At several points the vets wanted to put him to sleep......because of his age and the cost of treatment !!!.....but he's a fighter and looking in his beautiful eyes he told me it wasn't his time yet. I refused to pts my best friend and soul mate....I knew he could beat this....and in true Stumpy style he made a full recovery......except his little back legs.......He now desperately needs doggie wheels. Every single penny I had......and more.....went on the growing vet bill and I still owe them around £3000. Hes totally recovered and back to his self but just needs wheels to help his legs....they might get better or they might not....time will tell.

5 WEEKS AFTER HE RECOVERED

I'M SORRY TO ADD THAT STUMP'S HADA MASSIVE HEART ATTACK....HE'S HAD A HEART MURMUR FOR YEARS BUT LUCKILY SYMPTOM FREE.....IT DIDN'T EFFECT HIM AT ALL.......WE.WERE IN THE VETS WAITING ROOM WAITING FOR HIS CHECK UP. THEY TRIED BUT COULDNT SAVE HIM AND IN SECONDS HE WAS GONE.....HE SADLY PASSED AWAY. I'M BEYOND DEVASTATED AND HEARTBROKEN. I JUST WANT TO DIE.....HE WAS MY LIFE.....MY BEST FRIEND AND MY BABY .
...THE FUNDRAISING NOW IS JUST TO CLEAR THE MASSIVE VETS BILL...STUMPS HAD SEVERAL VETS STAYS....FOR A TOTAL OF 3 AND A HALF WEEKS..... AND HIS TREATMENT FOR THE VIRUS WAS ONGOING . I PAID £800 OFF OF THE BILL.THAT WAS ALL OF MY SAVINGS. I WAS SAVING 4 SURGERY 4 MYSELF. I STILL OWE THE VET JUST OVER £3000 & HAVE NO MONEY LEFT. PLEASE HELP ......I'M OFF WORK AT THE MOMENT AND ON DISABILITY BENEFITS FOR SEVERAL THINGS AND NOW ALSO SEVERE DEPRESSION BECAUSE OF THE LOSS OF MY BEAUTIFUL STUMP'S. I WILL NEVER GET OVER HIM GOING. EVER. xx
