Hi, I'm Travelling Man.

I was created and my dad adopted me. I care about creatives, and I want to support others to create things and bring them to life just like me. I want to spread the joy of creativity and fight against stress, anxiety, and depression.

I'm part of a group of creatives who have a clear vision. We want to give anyone with creative passion the opportunity to have their voice heard and for them to find their confidence and self-worth and grow in themselves.

Creatives and innovators dream of touching the stars, aim big with great ambition and this is no different. We want to go as far as we can to support small businesses and those with a creative dream and inspire any with creative passion.

You may ask…

Well, I lost at a game of rock, paper, scissors because I literally don't have any fingers… So yeah, I've been roped into climbing a volcano… Just kidding it was my dad’s idea… it was also his idea to give me a beard… I mean I’m only like a week old and I have a beard and next week I’m going on a dangerous mission to climb a volcano. It does look fun though. Where was I? oh yes, back to the pitch…

We want to shake off the shackles, let our imaginations run wild. Without creativity life is empty and we help people with creative passion go from feeling unhappy and isolated to optimistic and supported by providing enriching opportunities for self-development and creative growth. It’s our aim to help 2022 creatives breathe life back into 2022 and make it the year of creativity.

We want to do it because we want to fight against stress, anxiety, and depression through creativity. We chose to climb a volcano because it feels quite symbolic. A hard landscape but one that can crack apart and erupt and change without notice. It can be safe to walk on one minute and dangerous the next. It can be awe inspiring and beautiful and terrifying at the same time.

Creativity is often viewed as an extension of oneself and its not always easy to display, we’re quick to notice the cracks and imperfections and often succumb to the eruption of self-doubt, judgment, and fear of failure.

My dad and I are seeking expert advice and guidance before climbing up to these lava fields. We will rely on the experience and skills of our guide. Similarly, if creativity is nurtured correctly with help from those with experience, skills, and passion it can upbuild and create confidence – a solid platform and foundation.

This marks our first fundraiser for our vision and the first attempt to raise awareness of our creative need as a community. We hope to use the funds raised to develop facilities such as creative arts workshop space, a music production studio, a videography/photography studio as well as an exhibition gallery for local artists. Once completed we will run a vast array of courses within the arts with literal stages and platforms for people to express themselves from (Can’t wait for open mic night). We will run events for our local community to help restore the light that was before the pandemic. We also want to provide professional advice and support for small businesses.

Although we will start in our borough (I’m a Sand Dancer after all) our intention is to rapidly spread this message further afield without geographic limitations, we must take back 2022 as the year of the creative.

We have set the goal low so we can all share in a win together. We will be happy to at least raise awarenes, any funds raised will be a bonus.
