Story
In 2014, our 8 year old daughter completed Proton Beam Therapy in Oklahoma. At the centre, they had a bell which everyone rang to signal the end of their treatment. We loved the idea and had one made for Ward 84 at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital in time for her to ring in April 2014 when she finished her chemotherapy.
Since then, we have placed over 250 bells into hospitals and treatment centres across the UK, and further afield. As a completely non-profit organisation, we use every penny we receive in donations to fund more bells.
Through our partnership with Beads of Courage UK, we now offer bells to NICU as well as oncology. As they branch out to other wards, so will we.
Despite our name, the bells are used for a variety of reasons- not just to signify the end of treatment. The bells are regularly used by patients to celebrate milestones in their treatment, even though their treatment is ongoing.
If you would like one for your centre, please get in touch.
Many thanks for your support
