We are looking to raise money to support vulnerable people in our area who struggle to gain access to the local services and amenities . As community carers we are passionate about the social well being of our clients and people whose lives would be enriched by this.

We visit many people on a daily basis who live alone and are experiencing loneliness and due to circumstances and physical limitations they are unable to go out. Sometimes we are the only people that they will see from week to week, and this can have an effect on someones mental health. The cost of daily living continues to rise and social outings are not always considered to be an important need.

The purpose of this page is to raise enough money to be able to provide regular day excursions which would cover the cost for the hire of a suitable vehicle and driver, experienced carers to ensure everyone's needs are met throughout the day, entry costs of venues and refreshments.

A small donation could go a long way in helping to avoid social isolation which is becoming more of a concern amongst our vulnerable adults.
