Thatcham Rugby Club are devastated to inform our rugby family, inside and outside the club, of the very sad death of Jack Wells who was a larger than life character in last seasons Under 13s.

Jack passed away on the afternoon of Sunday 13th July after a Leukaemia diagnosis just a few short weeks ago at the beginning of June.

Jack was a popular player and was an absolute character, the type every rugby team needs - sadly his team mates have lost their rugby brother but they'll never forget him.

The club would like to remember Jack with, amongst other tributes, a Memorial Bench which will be on a raised bank overlooking the 1st team pitch where he played with such heart for our U13s last season.

Donations that exceed the cost of the Memorial Bench will be donated to charities of the families choice.
