Story

Our names are Jonathan (17), Joshua (15), Sam (11), Ben (11) and Edward (5) and between us we are completing a triathlon to help raise funds to help buy a specialist wheel chair for our sister and auntie Abigail who is 11 years old and has spina bifida, catastrophic epilepsy (West Syndrome) and a scoliosis.

A few weeks ago our nan and grandad were told that Abigail could not have an important operation to help her spine. This means the curve in her spine will keep getting worse and make her life more and more uncomfortable.

There is a special wheel chair that Abigail can have specially moulded to her spine to help make her more comfortable but it costs £4200, unfortunately it is not available on the NHS.

So we have decided to use our bodies by swimming, cycling and running to help raise some money so she can be more comfortable with hers.

On September 17th Samuel is going to swim 1.5km at the Hudson swimming pool. He will then pass the baton to Joshua who will cycle 16km from Wisbech to Terrington St Clement before the final leg is completed by Benjamin who will run 10km from Terrington St Clement to the Walks in Kings Lynn. Finally little Edward will join Ben to l finish off the final 2km with a lap of the Walks in Kings Lynn.
