I have organised a fundraising event in the Wynd centre on Saturday 19th November where I will be getting all my hair cut off along with 3 other ladies to donate to The Little Princess Trust, who make real hair wigs for children with cancer.
As many of you know my youngest son was diagnosed with cancer 7 years ago so this is something very close to my heart.
All money raised on the night will go to Combat Cancer, which is an exercise & support group for anyone who has been affected by cancer and The Wynd Centre , who provides great many services to the community including counselling, victim support and the child contact centre.
All these organisations do fantastic work and I would just like to add that both Combat Cancer & The Wynd Centre provide such crucial services for people in the local area, therefore all the money raised will stay in our area to support local people.
