Story
Trio Trek for the Tower
The lovely church of St. Mary the Virgin, Walkern is the one of the oldest rural parish churches in Hertfordshire. It dates back to the mid 10th Century and has many interesting features.
The tower is now in need of repair and funds are needed urgently in order to pay for significant work to be undertaken. Beverley, Rachel and Alan will be walking St. Cuthbert's Way in Northumberland in September - a total of 100Kms - over 4 days.
We would be very grateful for any help you can give to this cause.
