    Story

Hi bob has had a nasty eye injury and is having treatment at the vet since 30th april 2018.

he was referred to a specialist vet today by our usual vet but the issue is although bob is insured they require £250 deposit before he is seen plus £36 admin fee to process an insurance claim. they also are saying its £9 every other visit after the 1st.

my other issue is his insurance pays out £1000 per condition but the specialist is on excess of £200 for a consultation so if he needs treatment will take it over the £1000.

i am a single mum and work part time for minimum wage so there is no way i can afford the upfront costs as have already paid the insurance excess out of my wages and that was a scrape to do.

please if anyone can help at all even if its just a smalll amount please can you do so to save Bobs eye. He is 7yrs old and he is my 10yr old sons best friend so my son who has medical issues would be totally deviatated to lose his best friend.

Many thanks from me, my son and Bob

Hi thanks to all who have donated we have had some brilliant news today his eye is saved and only a few more visits to normal vets and all should be fine and he won't lose his eye. Only thing he may have is lack of sight in it which is not a major issue so I would like to offer your money back to you. If you won't accept I will donate it to a cat rescue in Eastbourne who are swamped with vet bills so please let me know how to return it if you would like it back. Many thanks for you kindness from bradley bob and me x

Well I have an update on Bob he is now on a stronger antibiotic drop 3-4 times a day and also has some serum made out of his blood which he needs every 1-2hrs during the day. He is going back on Friday at 4pm for a check up but been told if this doesn't work then he will most prob lose his eye. The vet also suspects that he is blind or partially blind in that eye now too. Poor baby Bob x

Thanks to all who have donated so far I have spoke to the vets and they have found a place in Worthing which will only charge £35 upfront costs which is a massive relief so your donations will be a great help with that. Thankyou very much for all your support at this difficult time for bradley bob and me x
