As our loyal and kind followers know and for those new to Todd's Welfare Society we are a small NGO rescuing and treating street animals of Lahore. I myself am the Vice Chair of TWS and decided to join TWS as the condition of street animals in the city were I grew up saddened me. I felt compelled to do something and came across TWS in its early stages with a handful of individuals trying their utmost best to help animals from a desperate situation and came on-board.

We at TWS rely solely on donations to take care of our rescues as we receive no government funding whatsoever. In a country with no animal rights and no organisations such as the RSPCA. Street animals lead a miserable existence with no one to turn too should they be abused, injured, sick or starving. We take in these animals, treat them and try to find them homes which is not an easy task.

Currently we have many rescues for whom we have to pay off existing vet and boarding bills. For example Groot the tiny puppy that was found injured and close to death at a rubbish heap. Dollar a victim of a hit and run, who is in danger of losing his leg. We have many more rescues that received much needed medical care and attention, such as Oscar and Anna two abandoned puppies, suffering from severe malnutrition and dehydration. They have since been adopted, but we still need to pay their vet and boarding bills. We have boarding fees to clear for all our recent spay cases as sadly we at TWS do not currently have any post op boarding facilities. We are lucky to receive rescue rates but saying this bills still need to be paid.

We also have many rescues residing at our temporary shelters that need feeding and in some cases spay and neuter surgeries. Please help our rescues as they truly have no one else to turn too
