Ty Nant Cat Sanctuary became a registered charity in Sept 2016. Since that date we have been successful in rehoming over 300 cats and kittens. We turn very few cats away, even the ill ones we fight to save. We only ever euthanize on vets advice. We have an FIV room and have 9 FIV cats that would have otherwise been put to sleep. As our reputation grows so does our intake of stray and unwanted cats. Our vets bills also increase. We are a self funding charity run by a small group of volunteers. We have no paid employees and volunteers receive no expenses. Everything we raise goes back into the charity to help our cat residents. A group of 3 volunteers have decided to do the ZIP WIRE OF DEATH in March to raise funds.
