Story
The University of Birmingham Boat Club, in partnership with Queen Elizabeth hospital Birmingham, are doing a charity ergathon on Wednesday 25th April at the QE hospital. We will be rowing 500km, which is on average the distance covered by a nurse on their shifts across four months. We will hope to complete this over the course of 12 hours (8am-8pm).
Half our funds will be donated to Queen Elizabeth hospital to help them fund important care facilities. The other half will be used by the rowing club to help renovate the ageing equipment at our beginner training centre, Edgbaston reservoir.
