In July this year, I'll be travelling with a group of other doctors and medical students to two rural hospitals in Uganda.

Each year we try to fundraise for these hospitals and previously funds have been used to buy equipment (like stethoscopes and blood pressure cuffs), resuscitation materials and building work (like windows for the paediatrics ward).

I'm running the Brighton Marathon on the 15th April this year. This is my first marathon and hopefully my silly decision to run a very long way might inspire you to donate to this great cause.
