A refugee I've been supporting for some time now has been put into temporary accommodation with her three children in Haringey while she's registered in Dagenham. Neither borough is accepting responsibility for the children, so she's having to cover food, heating, phone and travel expenses for all of them as well as expensive compulsory school uniform from her own allowance of about £80 a week. She's actually the person who told me about her co-students last year. I'd be really greateful if I could send the money raised to help her out.

I've been keeping your contributions in a dedicated account to support new students this coming academic year, but I discovered recently that there's now funding available to cover the IELTS fees for refugees, so the money is no longer needed for this purpose.
