Funded on Friday, 16th December 2016

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is the new way to raise money for a personal cause on JustGiving.

In the UK and around the world thousands of children are being sexually abused and exploited. 3,000 children were sexually abused last year alone in the UK.

Around 70,000 Indecent images of children were shared in the UK with 50,000 of them then downloaded. 1 in 5 children take these images themselves. showing how necessary it is for charities such as PACE to be supported.

PACE UK was founded in 1996 by Irene Ivison after the murder of her 17 year old daughter Fiona, who was groomed, sexually exploited and then coerced into prostitution by a known perpetrator. Three weeks after she was forced into prostitution, Fiona was murdered by a client.

With around 47,000 sexual offences committed against children last year alone, it is clear to see why organisations such as PACE need to be supported.

Fiona could have bee our sister, cousin, friend, niece or daughter.

Our African Caribbean society wants to take a stand against this! help us fundraise this and support us as we go SKYDIVING to raise money for this prevalent cause.

    Your money will go towards:

    - Helping to equip professionals with the tools needed to ensure parents and careers have the correct support to safeguard their children
    - Counselling sessions
    - Bring justice for families affected
    - Collate evidence from the work of Pace and undertake research in order to influence policy and practice.
    - Challenge and change public attitudes on child sexual exploitation and the role of families.
    - Sustain long term change by training partners in the active role of parents and carers safeguarding their children.

    and more!
