Story

Garden of Reflection

As this is the end of the 1914-1918 WWI commemoration Upperlands RBL would like to have a fitting tribute to all service personnel who have served in many campaigns over the last 100 years by way of a garden of reflection. This project is being supported by Upperlands Community Group who have gave permission for the use of this plot of land. This garden will be used by young and old for remembrance and education in a practical way by helping to maintain the plants and taking parts in acts of remembrance.

This garden will cost approximately £18,000 and will consist of a paved area surrounded with walling, decorative iron railings, raised flower beds, Centre Stone feature, lighting and seating, We need to raise a minimum of £6000 towards this project.

Upperlands Royal British Legion agrees that this is a worth while project and is worthy of your support.

Thankyou
