Story
The Office for National Statistics said the number of rapes in the capital in 2021 rose by 19 per cent on the previous year’s total to a new peak of 8,873 offences.
Urban Forest Collective's focus is on supporting women and children fleeing domestic violence and abuse. We do this by providing free nature and wellbeing programmes in carefully selected locations in London. We work closely with our charity partners, SOLACE with 40 yrs working in this field, to ensure that every penny is spent wisely.
£10k means 8 days of free respite for survivors & 6 days for their children, free lunch in a nature setting, art, craft materials,, two staff delivering a programme, a movement and well being coach & more. £5 is 2 free meals. £15 is 1 place. £150 is 4 movement therapy sessions

2 years agoSince we launched our campaign, we have be lucky to receive some direct payments into our acct to now make this programme possible. A huge huge thanks to everyone that made this project possible. We are once again working with some of the UK's leading support networks for survivors of DV to provide solace and some metime
