Story

BRING BRIAN EASTON HOME

This is for all friends of Brian Easton. He is in very poor health in USA and further medical treatment is no longer available to him. We have a chance to bring him back to Dundee at the beginning of June. Funds have been raised for him over there to secure a flight.

Jim Smyth has kindly offered to travel to California and escort him home as a number of flights are involved and Brian’s sight is severely impaired.

We need to finance Jim’s flights and any extra expense incurred during and after the journey.

A number of you have expressed a wish to help and hopefully this crowdfunding page will provide sufficient funds to enable us to BRING BRIAN HOME!

I met Brian for coffee & cake yesterday. He’s in good spirits and his sister Evelyn has been very busy arranging everything to make life a good bit easier for him. He has been to the hospital and will receive treatment very soon. He is so grateful to you all for making it all possible. I read him the donator’s list yesterday and he was visibly touched at just how kind you all have been. WE BROUGHT BRIAN HOME thanks to your generosity. Thank you x

An update re Brian for all you very generous contributors. We now have a phone funded for the first year by Jimmy Ross; a big thanks for that Jimmy. An indestructible phone case has been bought also and Brian is, at the moment, learning to ‘drive’ the phone. His sister Evelyn is this week organising everything for him. The funds will be used in future for any equipment/furniture he needs when he is housed. I will be giving him a list of donators. If any of you wish to contact Brian he is happy for his number to be made public: 07853066990 💕

Brian & Jim arrived back in UK this afternoon with no drama due to assisted passage through all airports. Lynne & Jerry Morrison provided transport from Edinburgh to Dundee ( also For Jim on the way out) and their generosity has been truly amazing. Thank you both. Brian has been delivered safely and may want a couple of days to settle in. My number is 07976524109 - feel free to ask for more info. Again a huge THANK YOU to you all for helping this happen. Val

Sorry to hear about Brian - I was a neighbour of the Easton family and I hope this little amount helps Brian. I was a member of the Lawson family. Best wishes to Evelyn and Brian.
