Story
9 Buxton CC members are riding 300 miles, coast to coast in one day and back the following day. We are doing the ride for the rideforcharlie charity, Charlie was a special boy, and the son of a local cyclist. He went to sleep on Friday the 20 January 2017 and didn't wake up. He was 15.
Charlie loved his bike, riding, racing and touring. The charity was set up to help support young off road cyclists, who are or would have been inspired by Charlie to follow in his pedal strokes.

7 years agoSam clark of sett valley cycles and buxton cc is going to attempt the everesting challenge again in new mill tomorrow 1st november.he will be climbinging the height of everest in one bike ride which is over 24000ft of ascent.sam will be using this page to collect donations as part of buxton cycling clubs help in raising money for #rideforcharlie.please give what you can to help sam as what he is about to do is extremely hard.many thanks.
