Story
Anthony's life
Anthony John Vowles was born on the 30th of April 1986 he weighed 8lb 8oz baby brother to Craig who was 8 years older and older brother to twin sisters Rachel & Suzanne who were 2 years younger ... as a baby and toddler he was never much trouble as he grew he reached the age of 4 and was a big wrestling fan watching the WWE with his dad and big brother as he grew older he wanted to be a wrestler and use to play wrestling with his friends Scott and Steven he did well at school and by the time he was 16 he joined a wrestling training school over in Coventry he was later to join AWW in Netherton when he finished his training due to illness which he later found out was cancer ( Ewing's Sarcoma )
Anthony had a few jobs before settling as a security Guard working for TSS mainly working in Tesco in Cradley Heath where in 2015 he was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma after many weeks of treatment staying in hospital for a week at a time out for 2 then back in for 1 then weeks of radiotherapy he was finally given the all clear being told they couldn't cure it but they could control it which was good news he sorted out his life and went back to work for TSS almost a year later he had to go for more tests as the pain in his leg had come back he was told the cancer had come back again so he had to have more chemo but was on a trial using new drugs as well as the old ones they decided he was to go in as a day patient as time went on they reduced some of the drugs weeding out the 1's that made him sick eventually he was told the same he got the all clear couldn't cure it but could control it then on a MRI he was told he had nodules in his lungs and that they could contain them this was in 2016 he again picked himself up and went back to work for TSS in the cradley heath Tesco
Then in June this year Anthony felt ill and went to see his consultant Dr Peake at the QE Hospital in Birmingham where once again he had tests done then an MRI to be told his cancer was back with a vengeance he spent a few weeks in hospital and was then sent home where he was seen by the district nurses in july his legs were both gone and he could hardly walk anywhere without him stopping after a few yards as it was too painful to walk unaided he was to see a dr at brierley hill in july but was unable to go as he couldn't walk and was getting out of breath very easy so she came out to see him the same night he was admitted to the QE Hospital where he remained for 6 weeks before coming home on the 10th of september in the last 9 days his body was slowly shutting down and for the last 4 days Anthony was given a relaxant to help him sleep which he did for 24 hours a day finally on september the 17th Anthony finally lost his fight passing away peacefully in his sleep at 2am it's been 2 weeks since Anthony left us for that big wrestling ring in the sky it still feels so unreal but he's now pain free and at rest
