Back in March 2020 at the very start of the Pandemic a dear friend of mine suddenly passed away. It was devastating and terrible news to hear of Cath's passing away at such a young age, leaving behind her husband Mike and her two young boys Archie and Charlie. Cath Sweet (Dean) was wonderful kind hearted person and fantastic mother to her two young boys Archie and Charlie and adored her husband Mike. In memory of Cath I am running the Manchester Half Marathon on Sunday 26th September. Cath was a trustee of VASL, VASL was a Charity close to Cath's heart as it supports members of the local community across a number of various projects such as support for Young Carers, Mental Health projects and Wellbeing programmes to name a few.

VASL have set up a page for you to donate and support me on this run but also to use the money raised in memory of Cath and her work with VASL and something that Mike and her two boys will be proud to see that Cath's memory lives on in the community and that her warmth and love is still being shared through VASL. All money raised will be spent on local VASL projects in Market Harborough.

I know Cath will be looking down on me and chuckling as i try and drag my little legs around 13 mile course as she always said that "she was more of a sprinter than a runner !!"
