Story
Although the exhibition has already taken place, the funding was refunded to all the donors due to administrative problems. The Adivasi Arts Trust is a small charity, with very modest funds. Our work is sincere, and we need to sign off this project. Please help us to recover the funding that we had received.
Little is known about the tribal cultures of Central India. These historical photographs were taken by renowned ethnographer, philosopher and activist Verrier Elwin in the 1930-early 1950s. The Exhibition celebrates the Adivasi tribal cultures of Central India that have been so marginalized on the one hand, and it also recognises the India-UK collaboration in the field of culture. This will be the first time that the exhibition will be seen by audiences in London. The photographic gallery is booked at the Brunei Gallery at the University of London from 12 January - 24 March 2018.

Sorry I can't pitch in more, but my 'honey pot' is super low after constructing my new house. Hope this bit helps--at least as a gesture of support from afar...! Cheers, John
