Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Hello, I am doing a sky dive for PTSDUK. This cause is quite close to my heart. Not a lot of people know about PTSD, and I want to bring more awareness of that, to make more people understand and look out for some of the symptoms. My partner unfortunately suffers from PTSD, and what he has to go through, I would not wish on anyone else.
PTSD, for people who don’t know anything about it, is a mental illness that is brought on from a traumatic experience in their life. It could be literally anything, you will find some people who suffer from it the most are the people in the army, people who have been wrongly convicted of crimes that they didn’t do. And of course people who have suffered abuse in their childhood. It really could be anyone!!!! People who suffer from PTSD, are sometimes classed as being rude, however they can’t help it, as they can suffer flashbacks at any moment. People who suffer from PTSD, will normally suffer from these other conditions.....
Feelings of disassociation
All of these are tiring, and hard work for the person suffering with PTSD, and also their loved ones.
To see my partner go through everything that goes along with PTSD, is horrible to watch. It would be nice to see him be able to have help for his PTSD instead of struggling to cope and feel like he can’t turn to anyone. Please help me by raising money for the people that suffer silently, let’s make them feel like it’s not the end of the world.
Many thanks, Vickie

Hi I am Vickie. I’ve done a bit of fundraising before for Epilepsy Action, and that really gave me the bug to help charities. Even though I’ve not done any charity events in a while, (life does get in the way,I know. And I’m very sorry Charities!lol) But I’m back and want to go!
