Weʼve raised £482 to raise money for interstitial lung disease for the RVI in Newcastle. All money goes towards treatment, rehab and research.

    Story

This is to help raise money in memory of Keith Ollis . He was a wonderful husband , dad, father in law, grandad, brother, uncle and friend to so many p
eople. Unfortunately he was taken from us far too soon due to a horrible condition called idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. This is one of many terminal diseases under the umbrella term interstital lung disease. This particual condition affects approximately 35,000 people in the uk.

All money we raise will go directly to the lovely team at the Royal Victoria Infirmary at Newcastle. The money will go directly to patients in the form of rehabilitation, treatments and new research into the disease.

On December 26th 2016 many family members and friends are doing the Boxing Day dip in Redcar to help raise money to this much needed charity. As temperatures will be freezing. This will literally take our breath away. A small in site into what people living with disease are dealing with on a daily basis.

My goodness thank you all for donating . Jumping into the north Sea in freezing cold weather is about the craziest thing my family have ever done. However this is for a great man and a great cause. Made it worth while . Thank you so much again
