Sadly on the 11th september 2017 we lost our beautiful daughter Scarlett and she was stillborn at 32 weeks with no real explanation. We really can't thank the hospital and the staff enough for the excellent care we recieved and really want to give something back. After Scarlett was born she had to be kept cool in a special refrigerator in a small room they called lilly's room. We was showed where Scarlett would be kept and the tiny space the midwifes had to work in to care and dress the babies this was also called the snowdrop suite, the suite also allows parents and wider family to spend time with there babies in a relaxed atmosphere away from the busy wards, they offer little keepsakes which make a huge difference to parents such as memory boxes, hand and foot prints of your angel, hats, blankets anything you need to make the experience a little better. Now they need help raising money to improve the snowdrop suite and offer better facilities. We really want to put our grief to good use and make this horrific experience a little bit better for parents and also make it easier for midwifes to do the excellent job they are doing.
Thank you so much for all of your help so far
