I'm running the Cambridge half marathon on March 8th 2020 - it's fair to say this is at least 11,000 steps outside my running comfort zone! If I can raise some funds for this amazing local cause then that would give me no end of added motivation...

Norfolk Snowsports Club is a Not-for-Profit Sport facility owned and managed by its members. We are really lucky to have the club in (flattish) Norfolk and our three children have learned to ski and practice there regularly.

There is a fantastic adaptive skiing group run at the club whose equipment and volunteer instructors make snowsports accessible for all. I have been lucky enough to be at the club when the existing sit skis have been in use and they really pick up some speed - the thrill and excitement they bring to the adaptive group members is clear to see.

The adaptive skiing group are aiming to purchase two new sit skis from Tessier, the leading manufacturer. The new equipment will be more versatile, more comfortable and will replace ageing equipment that has lasted for 20 years. This highly specialised equipment does not come cheap and the group need to raise £6,500 more by the summer.

So if you can spare anything to allow more people to have fun sliding down a hill in Norfolk - and motivate me to train harder and run faster then I would be hugely grateful. Thanks for reading!
