Virgin Atlantic Adventurers Doing Good in the BVI

We are a group of Virgin Atlantic Adventurers, who decided to volunteer our time, pay our own way and help support the BVI on the ground to find its feet after the Hurricane Irma disaster. Unite BVI have given us a Task list to clean up and prepare the only High School on Virgin Gorda, prior to contractor recovery and repair. To support in the clean up we have been given a materials list which we have to buy and transport.

The group of over 20 crew, engineers, airport and office staff and friends will be working in the Bregado Flax Public High School in Virgin Gorda. We are working together with the Ministry and contractors to prepare the heavily damaged high school for required repairs.

The high school has 250 students and is the only Public High School in Virgin Gorda. The damage was felt throughout the entire School where nearly all of the second story classrooms lost their roofs and nearly the entire school lost their windows.

We need Pressure washer X 2 , Jack hammer with a floor scraper attachment, Sawzall metal cutter - 4 each, Work Gloves and safety glasses.

The school also badly needs desks, chairs, pens, pencils and other school equipment.

We are sleeping on a warehouse floor and the days will be hard but rewarding. Please support us as we raise funds to buy much needed materials and transport them from London. Thank you everyone, every pound helps!!
