Morocco; a popular holiday destination with tropical weather and 5 star resorts. However, the harsh reality is that the country is overwhelmed with bitter poverty. Kids in Morocco don't have the same opportunities as youngsters in the UK. For many children, all that matters is their day-to-day survival, something to eat, something to wear and somewhere to sleep.Child abandonment is a huge issue in Morocco, according to UNICEF around 6000-7000 children are abandoned each year. If we are able to fundraise enough money, we plan on going to Marrakesh, Morocco for a fortnight. We are to eager to work with children, one to one, improving their life skills by teaching English and giving them support throughout a challenging time of their lives.
