Walkabout Hanley are taking on Ben Nevis (The UK's biggest mountain) and it's winter weather to raise money for 3 amazing charities (Mind, Brighter Futures and Care for Kids. Our plan is to travel up to Scotland on the Tuesday and Camping over on a campsite close to the mountain, climb Nevis on the Wednesday before making the 6 hour journey back to Hanley.

OUR CHARITIES -

1. Mind Mental Health - 1 in 4 people experience mental health difficulties at some point in their lives. Whether that be depression, anxiety, stress, self harm, personality disorder, bereavement or any other negative mental health experience, and Mind promotes positive mental health and wellbeing, and provides help and support to those who need it.

2. Brighter Futures - Brighter Futures provides support to those who require extra to live independent and fulfilled lives.

3. Care for Kids - Care for Kid's is a voluntary charity that has been supporting registered children's charities in the UK for many years. Some of the beneficiaries have been: Bone Cancer Research UK, The Daisy Garland Trust, The Boathouse Youth, Alder Hey Children's Hospital and Brian House to name just a few.
