    Story

As you will know our good friend Mo Chaudry passed away last January after a terrible accident whilst holidaying in Sri Lanka with his 11 year old daughters Kizzy and Leelou. Mo's loss has been keenly felt by all who ever met him either socially or through his work life. The loss of Mo as a Dad is of course the greatest loss so on Father's Day I'm walking not far off a marathon distance to raise funds in remembrance of our friend. All proceeds to be sent on to Mo's daughters.
Sunday 18th June the First Leg (see photos) starting about 6.00am is from Crosby Marina into Liverpool City Centre (6 miles/9 km), then Tunnel Bus under the River Mersey, then a 2km walk to Seacombe Ferry Terminal, the registration point for my 2nd leg: The Wirral Walk. 15 miles/24km and 6 hours around the Wirral Peninsula from Seacombe to Thurstaston. Then it's a bus back to Seacombe, ferry back across de Merzee to Pier Head and the 3rd leg of the day round Liverpool 8, passing by places much loved by Mo during his time here. Hoping to end up at Yard on New Bird Street about 8pm, so all welcome to come along be that as company somewhere along the walk or at Yard for memories of Mo and what I imagine will be much needed refreshment! Any questions don't hesitate to ask.. thanks for your time and support . I plan to update this page with images of the route before and during the walk so keep looking! X
