    Story

On the 19th July a fire within the Walton parish in Walnut Tree, Milton Keynes quickly spread and devastated the nursery and 3 houses. Many residents and businesses were affected.

We the Walton Community Support Project want to help support the victims; which has affected the lives of many residents, both directly through the loss of their homes, or from the fallout through loss of power resulting in freezers and fridges being inoperational on the hottest day on UK record.

It is not only the homes of residents that have been lost, but the loss of a valued local child care facility Kiddi Caru.

Lots of people have asked what they can do to help and we the Walton Community Support Project believe that we are perfectly positioned to collect and distribute resources to those who need them.

Please give generously to support people living in your community.

We are an official registered charity and our charity registration number is 1199332.

Thank you very much for anything you can contribute.

WOW WOW WOW. We can't thank you all enough for your hugely generous donations to the cause. When we set up this Just Giving page, we had no idea quite how many people had been affected and as such the target keeps changing as we have now surpassed 2 targets that we set. You are all fabulous, caring, thoughtful and generous people and we are extremely grateful for your support. Much love ❤️ Charlie, Cat, Toni, Tom, Liz, Louise and all of our fabulous volunteers

To lose one's home in such a terrifying way is shocking. Then a community comes together to support ... and that is a truly wonderful thing.
