Like most people I am looking to put the past 12 months behind me and restart as we approach the new normal. Given I have taken on a new appearance in the last 12 months (modelling myself on Forest Gump!), I have been told by a number of dearest colleagues recently "smarten yourself up Sid", "get your beard shaved you tramp" and "you look like Tom Hanks in Castaway" in addition to a number I can't write. So as the light starts to shine for the first time in the last 12 months of darkness in my world, I am going to follow the wise advice and return to my pre lock down look and in doing so try and raise money for the fantastic "We Love Manchester Charity" and also the day care center my youngest son Matty (who has Fragile X) attends "Newbridge Horizons". Two fantastic and worthy causes.

Promise to video the beard shave. I'm told by the Barber of Seville (Mrs Nolan of Smithfield Market fame) that she may have a few surprises in store for me. Hopefully the video may make you laugh.
