WARRIOR PRINCE UPDATE 10/08/18

Warrior today visited Fitzpatrick’s Referral Hospital for his first consultation.

The very good news is... they can help Warrior. His cleft palate can be repaired and function between 70% & 80% of normal. Surgery will begin in October. After this main surgery Warrior will be reassessed for continuing surgery. He’s got a tough road forward BUT he’s a young healthy puppy whose quality of life will be so much more comfortable and pain free.

The bad news is... as Warrior’s cleft is not covered by his insurance the approximately costs of his surgery will be £7000. The fund total has been adjusted accordingly.

We will do all we can to raise funds and we thank all who have donated already. Victoria is overwhelmed by everybody’s generosity. For those who wish to donate every single penny will help no matter how small and we thank you in advance. Warrior Prince is having a really bad time. He’s had two lots of surgery which have both failed and so will now be visiting Fitzpatrick’s Specialist Referral Hospital on Friday 10th August 2019.

Although Warrior is insured it does not cover his cleft lip as he was born with this condition.

Warrior’s mum Victoria has tried everything to get him healed so that he can enjoy his ‘puppyhood’ yet each time there is a glimmer of hope fate takes it away.

Warrior was also born blind and so his ongoing cleft lip issues are really taking their toll on his development throughout his life of darkness. He WILL thrive but he has a little way to go just yet.

We want to support Victoria and sometimes words of comfort are just not enough. We want to help make her dream a reality... for Warrior Prince to get better and be pain free.

You have our reassurance that all funding raised will be directly transferred for Warrior’s treatment.
