Ola Lawal has been in the UK for more than 10 years, he hasn't seen his family for those 10 years after he got put to prison for crime he did not commit, he hast been given the opportunity to clear his name because of judgment made about him.

after years of struggle behind bars he is finally out and want to seek out his beloved family in Nigeria, i know him well because i was volunteering in the prison and teaching the prisoners. most people say why you don't get a job to generate the money you need but in reality nobody want hire someone who has been to jail its unfortunate but its true. i know from experience people are compassionate it doesn't matter where they are from.

if have been asking didn't he keep in contact with his family while in prison, the answer is no he didn't its like you can Skype them, in Africa people don't always live in towns or big cities there are some who are nomadic and his from nomadic clan.
