The Wonderful Foundation are raising £4,000 to fund the installation of a permanent clean-water supply at the Migowi School and Orphanage in Malawi.

As it stands, teachers and children from the school have to walk around 4 kilometres, 2 to 3 times a day, to fetch enough clean water for 200 children. We aim to improve the quality of life of both teachers and children in the area with the installation of a permanent supply of fresh water.

We’re not a large organisation or a big charity, but a small group of dedicated volunteers, passionate about helping this community with direct and focused action. 90% of funds will go direct to the project, with 10% necessary for administrative costs.

We endeavour to:

- Raise the funds and facilitate the engineering necessary to install a water well on site.
- In doing so, raise the profile of the school, and of the Wonderful Foundation to ensure ongoing support for future fundraising projects

The well will improve the quality of life in the community, giving them clean water, the capacity to grow their own vegetables, and free up time for education. Please donate to make a real change to lives of those in Migowi.
