Waterloo Community Theatre deliver affordable weekly drama workshops for young people living/attending school in Waterloo and the South Bank. Many young people cannot afford to attend drama sessions with other organisations/institutions and we believe that access to the arts should be a right, not a privilege for a select few. WCT was established to address this gap and we currently run a very successful 8-12 group. Currently all members pay a very low fee of £30 per term (£90 a year), however, we want the sessions to be free for all members. This can only be achieved with sufficient funding from other sources. We also want to provide regular theatre-going experiences for all our young members and this can only be achieved with additional sources of funding.
