Story
Team Watts are once again taking on the Great Manchester Run 10k on 20th May 2018. Our runners this year consist of members of our Manchester & Leeds offices:
From Manchester - Becki Fairclough, Tom Kibblewhite, Nick Peers, Jamie Dutton, Paul Spence, Jim Wilson
From Leeds - Andrea Jutrzenka , James Titley, Matt Ashton
This time we are raising money for the GTMCR Mayor’s Homelessness Fund.
The fund will support frontline projects which can demonstrate they are supporting the objective to end rough sleeping and reduce homelessness through innovative initiatives such as:
- Building specialised supported accommodation for young people with access to education, volunteering and employment opportunities.
- Expanding mental health and rehabilitation programmes across Greater Manchester, including re-building community mental health support, recovery-led accommodation and arts programmes.
- Bringing empty properties back in to use for people threatened with becoming homeless.
