Welsh Three Peaks Challenge?
Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Penyfan all in one day
Raising money in aid of the Mayor of Rhondda Cynon Taf’s Charity Appeal - MIND (Merthyr and the Valleys), Action for Children, New Horizons, ADREF and Giving to Pink
Saturday 13 May 2017
Firstly, scale Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales, before driving down to the mighty Cadair Idris, also in Snowdonia. Finally, it’s time to tackle the highest mountain in South Wales, Pen-y-Fan, to complete the challenge.
You will walk a total distance of 20.35 miles and make a total ascent of 9,397ft (2,864m).

7 years agoThanks everyone for your support. Only a few days to go before the off! We will be leaving the Rhondda at midnight on Friday/Saturday then up to Snowden. Hopefully start climbing at 5:00am. Then on to Cassie Idris, hopefully by 10:00am. We are hoping to be at Pen y Fan on Saturday afternoon/evening. I'm hoping I'll be in bed by half 9. Will update when signal available during the challenge. Thanks.
