Our Wayne ( Babby ) Maddison, The husband, The Dad, The Uncle and the Friend that everyone wanted. He was the most genuine and caring person. His sense of humor was so funny he literally put a smile on your face as soon as you see him.

Everyone that knew him has had the kindest words to say about him and for the last 20+ years our Wayne has battled 24/7 with schizopharenia and Helen his wife and four children Daniel, Billy, Ellie and Lucy have had to be there day in day out to support their husband & dad. Mental illness is one of them things that unless you witness first hand you cannot appreciate how hard it is, not just for themselves but also for the family. It affects them all in some way !

The constant heartache of watching the person you love the most in this world battling every day and when we go for help the whole support system is just a joke.

We've witnesssed this first hand and you get pushed from pillar to post not knowing what to do so we are trying to take away the worry and stress caused by the finacial burden Wayne's death has left. The family have not only lost Wayne but the people that have devoted there lives to him are now left with not only the cost of the funeral but the fact that for the first time in over 20 years they themselves have to face the daunting task of getting a job whilst still grieving his death.

The system may be a joke but i know that the people of boston are strong and between us we can help in this time of need. The family are planning a tough mudder later in the year to raise money and awareness for mental illness so we can give back in some way to support the charities so other familys going through the same can be helped in the future.

Whether it be a little or a lot, anything would be appreciated to help the family.
