£15,090raised of £25,000 target by 142 supporters

Weʼve raised £15,090 to Victims of the Manchester Bombing: Fund for Victim Support.

    Chorley, United Kingdom
Funded on Wednesday, 20th September 2017

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

In light of the tragic events that unfolded in Manchester on Monday 22nd May 2017, we are raising money to help support the families of the victims who tragically lost their lives, those who have suffered injuries and anyone affected physically and emotionally by the events.

Manchester is our city and witnessing the united strength of the community in and around the North West and nationally has given us motivation to set up this page and get involved in supporting in any way we can. As a city we are strong and as a united community we are stronger.

100% of the funds raised will be donated to registered charities who are supporting the victims and families affected by the Manchester bombing. We've set the page up as Crowdfunding as there are multiple charities we want to support rather than a single one. We'll keep you updated with the specific charities that will be supported via our page.

The funds raised will be distributed to those that need it the most including The We Love Manchester Emergency Fund, established by the British Red Cross and the Lord Mayor of Manchester. We also want to support the family of one of the local victims, 8 year old Saffie Rose Roussos who was the youngest victim and is from Tarleton. The Plaice is her dad’s business in Leyland and there are campaigns for funds to pay the bills whilst the business is closed therefore some of the funds will go towards helping them.

Thank you to everyone who has donated and shared our page to raise money for the victims of the Manchester bombing. If you haven’t already shared this please add it to your social media accounts to help raise funds for those who need it most. As official charities are set up in support of the Manchester victims we will decide where and how the funds will be distributed. Thank you for your continued support.
