A DIFFERENT LIGHT

A collaboration between We Are Willow and mental health charity Manchester Mind contributing to continued awareness of male mental health issues, with proceeds from the project going to the charity. It will culminate in a 12 track recorded album, premiere film screening and live performance of spoken word works in cinema 1 at HOME – Manchester’s centre for international contemporary art, theatre, and film on World Mental Health Day October 10th 2018.

The project features the following...

- Four songs by We Are Willow featuring Chorus Of Others male choir from Manchester International Festival 2017

- Four spoken word works based around the topic of male mental health from a selection of emerging and established writers

- Four remixes combining a track and spoken word piece by recognised musical artists

- Four short films by established filmmakers responding to the songs

Your donations

...will contribute to the sound production and manufacturing costs of the album. For your generous support we will gift you past project releases to show how much we appreciate your help to make this collaboration a reality.

- Donations over £7 will guarantee you a copy of the 12 track album (including post & packaging)

- Donations over £10 will guarantee you a copy of the 12 track album and a copy of our limited edition release Anger whilst stocks last (including post & packaging)

- Donations over £20 will guarantee you a copy of the 12 track album and a copy of our imited edition 12 inch vinyl 348 Miles whilst stocks last (including post & packaging)

- Donations over £30 will guarantee you a copy of the 12 track album and a copy of our limited edition Berlin project hardback 150 page book and 9 track album whilst stocks last (including post & packaging)

- Donations over £50 will receive ALL of the above AND a complimentary ticket to the launch event on World Mental Health Day October 10th at Home Manchester
