Story
Logan is my son's best friend at school. They are now both 5 years old. When Logan was 4 he was diagnosed with Leukaemia. He now faces 3 years of treatment to beat it. The money we raise is going to be split. Half will go to Sheffield Children's hospital to buy new toys and craft equipment. (Did you know all play dough etc has to be disposed of once played with to aid infection control!) That's a lot of play dough to fund over a year!!!, but it's invaluable for children undergoing treatment to help alleviate the boredom and retain some simple pleasure in play.
The other half of the money will go to the family to help fund a short break for them all when Logan is well enough to enjoy it.
A group of mums (see fundraiser bio for details) are taking part in the British Legion Major Series 10K obstacle course at Bramham park Leeds on 18th March 2017 to raise funds as above. If you are a parent as we all are just imagine how traumatic it is for families to receive the news their child is suffering from Leukaemia. Please help us if you can.

7 years agoOur page has just 7 days left to run. I would like to say a massive thank you for all your support we have well and truly exceeded our target! Logan is currently suffering from neutropenia (which means his white blood cell count is very low so his immunity to infection is severely decreased). He has therefore not been able to get into school for a while now, and all his friends are really missing him. The money raised will be with the family soon so they can hopefully start to plan a lovely break away, so they have something to look forward to.
