Story
Due to vandalism our rugby posts at Wibsey Rugby Club are now damaged beyond repair. The costs for replacement for the posts alone is £1000 in addition the remedial works to make the area safe need to be completed.
This has a significant impact on our community rugby club as we are unable to fulfil any fixtures until the posts are replaced.
To put this into context we currently run teams at
Under 8s, 11s, 14s, 15s ,16s & 18s. In addition we have two girls teams at Under 14s & 16s.
Further to this two open age rugby league teams and two open age rugby union teams.
Please help us with our urgent plight to get the pitch playable again to minimise the impact on our 200 playing club members and the support of the wider community.

We had a collection in our office, as a lot of people live local to the rugby pitch. Hopefully your target is reached soon so the posts can be repaired.
