Weʼre raising £300 to help fund children to attend a Royal Family Kids camp in August
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Royal Family Kids is a camp for primary school aged children in foster care or in child protective agencies, who have experienced abuse in their young lives, from parents, siblings, family members etc. Some of them are as young as 6. Kids like this often miss out on typical childhood experiences, so the aim of the camp is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for them to have fun, life changing positive memories, and most importantly positive role models. My role will be to look after 2 children in particular and act as a big brother to them for the duration of the camp, giving up sleep and other comforts to give them 24-hour (kinda hope they might be okay at sleeping but who knows!) access to love and support, a right every child should have but sadly has been taken from these kids.
One big aim of the camp is that no child should have to pay a penny to attend, so I need to fundraise £300 to be able to help support their attendance. All I’m asking for is for you to consider giving a small contribution to be able to reach this goal. If you can contribute to this goal then I’d be delighted!
