Story
As you all know we lost our precious little boy William on the 10th of November 2017 at 38 weeks after a relatively healthy pregnancy apart from the odd scare he was growing well. Only the week before we had been to the midwife and been told that everything was fine.
As you can imagine to find out William was no longer with us has caused pain that we didn't know existed and it feels so wrong that on the 24th of November we had to bury our son, he is now in a beautiful spot in a local woodland burial ground over looking a lake.
The support and kindness we have received from our family and friends has been overwhelming and for that we will be eternally grateful, if we could just ask one more favour...
Whilst we were in The Princess Anne Maternity Hospital Southampton we received the most amazing care from all of the midwives there and in particular a lady named Kirsty who is the bereavement counsellor, she has been there right from the day we found out and continues to support us now. They have a special room where we were able to go for a few days after to be with William and our families to visit and for all of us to make precious memories together.
This room is funded completely by charity donations and in memory and honour of William we would like to try and raise as much money as possible to help another family in their time of need and to say how grateful we are to all the staff that have supported us and made a terrible situation just that tiny bit easier.
If you can donate anything to keep William's memory alive it would be gratefully appreciated.
Lots of love Lorna and David xxx

6 years agoThank you so much to everyone that has supported us over the last 7 months. We have raised just shy of £4,000. We are extremely proud of what you have helped us to achieve, the aim of this was to raise enough money to buy them a fridge as this was one thing we felt was missing. Well the fridge has now been brought and some other things are in the pipeline including soundproofing the walls. On June the 30th we are holding another tea party in Milford-On-Sea community centre from 1:30-4pm if anyone wants to come and support xxx

7 years agoThank you so much for your amazing generosity. It means the world to David and I to know we have your support. We are now going to increase the target so we can carry on as we never imagined we would get this far, I just hope William is looking down on us all and realises how special he is and none of this would have happened if it wasn’t for him. If we could ask you all to tell your friends and neighbours about us even if it’s not to donate just raise awareness and read our story. Lots of love Lorna and David xx
