Helloo, i'll be attempting to hobble the 2018 Blaydon Race and, in the process, raise much needed funds for New Beginnings Cat Rehoming.

New Beginnings, founded in June 2014, is an Independent, self-funding rescue, based in the Gateshead and Tyne Valley areas of the North East,
They are a 2 woman rescue, helping strays and unwanted cats in the area.
All cats in their care are neutered, vacinated & chipped before work begins on finding new homes. .
The rescue also traps and neuters feral cats, rehoming them in a safe, suitable outdoor environment
There are currently 5 fosterers who give up their time and homes for the rescue, along with a team of regular supporters who help with fundraising activities, driving and administration needs etc.
Around 75-100 cats are rehomed each year & this huge task and hard work is all run on a voluntary basis
Practical help, advice and education is also given to matters all things feline

All money raised will contribute towards food, litter, vet bills and ensuring the cats & kittens are made as comfortable as is possible until loving forever homes can be found.
