Many people are going without a meal or struggle to put food on the table. Then there is the poor and working poor. Homeless people on the streets with mental illness, the vunerable who can't fend for themselves, women who are victims of abuse, refugees that have fallen through the net, the elderly, single mums and kids sleeping in their cars and the community in general would be welcome to the food van.

The food van will operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week staffed by volunteers who are communally minded to see this as a duty of care in making sure no one will miss out on hot meal. Hunger does not discriminate.
More than that, the presence of the Mobile Food Van will draw people to congregate, connect and communicate, whereas most would at times isolate themselves. We want to achieve a community that doesn't feel ashamed to come to a food van when bellies are empty.

The Mobile Food Van has the mobility to move wherever the need is. We can setup at one of the many housing estates or where the homeless are sleeping ie; under bridges, in parks, in vacant buildings, living in storm drains. No one will miss out on a meal.
