We are so incredibly saddened to have recently lost the one and only William Marley.

One of his dying wishes was (in his typical style!) for his ashes to be placed in a firework and launched over the pit heaps in celebration of his life, with all of those he shared it with.

Willy was a true character and the rock of so many people's lives - a dad, brother, grandad, uncle, and friend. We want to make sure that his wishes are fully respected, but we are asking our wonderful community with love to support towards the costs involved in this.

Donations will first go directly to the costs of William's final goodbye, including the service, wake and memorial firework. Any excess will be donated to Alice House Hospice, a charity close to Willy's family as they cared for him in his final days. You can find out more about how memorial fireworks could be done here.
