Three members of the Withnell Pharmacy team will be completing the Manchester to Blackpool bike challenge, a ride of approximately 60 miles, on 8th July 2018. The object of us completing the challenge is to help raise funds for a truly worthwhile local cause, wheels for David.

On 12th June 2017 David was diagnosed with ALS - a sever strain of Motor Neurone Disease. David is 39, coming to terms with the possibility of not seeing his precious girls reach adulthood.

The most important thing is for David to be able to live a full, happy and independent life. After lots of research, Lynsey (Davids wife) has found an amazing all terrain electric wheelchair and at £14,500 it's not cheap. We hope to make a slight dent in this sum by raising as much money as we can to support David and his family reach this goal and help David regain some independence.
